About the Barefoot Blueprint
Years ago I created a thriving community called the Barefoot Blueprint — along with my friend Mike Kemp.
And … it was a huge success!
Right from the get-go we set out to create the best investment newsletter in the world. We focused on empowering our members with our fiercely independent take on share investments … health insurance … setting up a will … investing for your kids … refinancing your mortgage … starting a side business … saving on tax … and far more.
Our ‘Idiot Grandson Portfolio’ showed the exact set-and-forget investments I used to invest my own charitable endeavours for the long term.
Many members told us the Blueprint was a life-changing experience for them.
However, in 2019, to focus on non-profit work, I made the tough decision to shut the Barefoot Blueprint down.
(Yes, I shut down a profitable business to do work … for free?!)
Our members were devastated … but supportive:
We closed the doors to the Barefoot Blueprint in June 2019 for one final, amazing year — and officially shut it down for good on the 1st of July 2020.
Since then I’ve been focused on a few other projects:
In 2019, I launched the Barefoot Money Movement, which aims to get independent financial education into every school in Australia.
And nowadays I spend my time working as a not-for-profit financial counsellor in the bush, helping young and vulnerable people.
